Sony’s PlayStation 4 firmware update 4.50 is nearing its final phase of beta testing, if the recent mention from a Support rep on Reddit is anything to go by.
Since entered public beta on February 3, the feature-packed update appears to be ready for release according to a PlayStation Support rep, who recently confirmed to Reddit user realwords in an email that firmware 4.50 will be launching tomorrow, March 7.
Usually, PS4 firmware updates last for around a month in beta testing, so a release is due any time now.
Firmware update 4.50 brings custom backgrounds, and is the reason why we are all here.
